Oh, I agree completely! Let's face it, if the professionals are using CC's primarily, then that is where the manufacturers are going to get the most bang for their research and development buck. The BBb purchasing market is primarily institutions, like schools, who aren't nearly so picky about design upgrades. Their primary concern is durability and cost ratio. The unfortunate part is that the professional players that want BBb tubas are just stuck on that awful carousel, going round and round with the same time tested and boring designs because they match more what the majority of purchasers of BBb tubas desire.
