I'm really curious about this. This question is probably towards the people with perfect pitch. Why is there sort of a debate whether if A = 440, 442, 444, or anything else. Is it sort of the preference of perfect-pitch people saying that "440 sounds standard" or "444 has more color? Or maybe because some people like 440 because of its darker sound than the bright of the 444 or just sounds "right." I know, saying this gives me a headache :.) Also, A=440 in the states and 442 somewhere in Europe, right?
