I have a MW 32 which has very tough rotary valves and a very stuffy bottom (I wouldn't get it unless you like to play a tuba with a pillow in the horn). The valves on that horn used to clank ALL THE TIME and could never figure out what's wrong with it. And I did what David did using key oil on the outside and it still clanked. But then, like my former professor, Dr. Popiel told me to do, I put that Al Cass valve oil on the OUTSIDE of the valve case. I put it right where the rotary motion is on the case and it sounded like a brand new horn that doesn't clank! Maybe you can use that too.

P.S. You can use regular rotary oil as well. But I think that's enough.
