On my rotary instruments, I use Blue Juice on the inside. Blue Juice is a pretty fast oil that also has detergent additives. I rarely oil my valves more than once every two or three months. No build up either. On the outside, I use 3-in-1 oil, which is a little heavier and quiets the linkage right down.
