I'm a student of Steve's so I hope he doesn't mind me passing on this information. Steve uses three horns mainly: A Melton 45 S F tuba, a Walter Nerschl CCtuba, and a Rudolph Meinl 6/4 BBb tuba. They are all great horns and sound great, more-so because of the qualty of player that Steve is.
