It is good that you've started looking because that is the beginning of the process. Based on how you said you were looking and what your initial list looks like, I'll offer two pieces of advice:

Don't rush the process. Take all the time you can and be thorough. The last thing you want to do is end up with the wrong tuba, especially considering how much they cost. Understand that these searches can take years until just the right tuba comes along. There are many more options out there than you arte aware of now. Be sure to find them all.

It is okay to begin your search by looking at prices in websites and catalogs. But don't make any decisions, or eliminate any options, before you actually start playing the horns. How a horns looks and how much (or how little) it costs doesn't tell you anything about how well it works for you. Again, these horns are expensive enough that you will be much better off paying a little more now to get an instrument that you will keep and use for a very long time. You don't want to spend a little less money now and then have a tuba that you're ready to sell right away because you found one you like better.

Good luck and good hunting!
