This is kinda in response to the post about the high register. I was looking around at some stuff the other day and read that the farther you have the MP(shank) into the horn, the more difficult it is to play the high notes.
Well, of course I got out a few different MP's and I did notice the ones with the slightly shorter shanks allowed a little more ease in the high register.
Anyone care to comment or share?
