The Alex is also available in F/BBb. Price somewhere between $9K - $13K, depending on finish. Remember that all Alex tubas are made on an as-ordered basis, so lag time between order and delivery can be at least 6 mos. For their "normal" horns, their prices are competitive with Mirafone, but you can't test drive it first. Then there's the little problem of getting it here from Mainz.
