I second (third?) the idea of playing the Rochut trombone vocalises up where they are written. I think that the sustained quality of that music, coupled with the high altitude is very good at developing embouchure strength.

Also, I have seen a couple of references to the "money register" (meaning the area of range where most of the the gig music falls eg- middle lower) in this thread, wasn't the very clever term that was coined (pun intended) for that register, the "cash register"?
