Hi.
In addition to what has already been mentioned, you might want to think about these.
Unaccompanied:
Rolf Wilhelm- Five Etudes for Unaccompanied Tuba
Erland von Koch- Monologue 9
Edward Gregson- Alarum
John Lennon- Blackbird
Robert Spillman- Four Greek Preludes
You could also make a short suite of any three of the Verne Reynolds Etudes for Trumpet (horn)
If you want to branch out a little and give your audience something else to latch onto, you might consider doing a piece with tape. Here are some tried and true suggestions:
Neal Corwell- Aboriginal Voices
Neal Corwell- New England Reveries
Charles Ruggiero- Fractured Mambos
Scott Wyatt- Three for One
Hope this helps! Good luck!
