Lark is a name usually associated with mainland Chinese-made instruments. When teaching
in Canada, I used to see kids with them regularily. They were always poorly made and
shoddy; they did not hold up well. It was as though someone had seen a picture of a
euphonium and built one from that without ever knowing what they were to be used for. In
order to comment on a specific instrument, however, I would have to see and play it.
