Eastman has freshman/sophomore--orchestra & band and junior/senior--orchestra & band(Eastman Wind Ensemble).
The seating rotates, and assignments can be made on individual pieces in your level orchestra OR band. On the other hand, Mr. Harry might (???-This is ONLY a guess.) assign some of the tougher or "meatier" pieces to those whom he believes are more able to "handle" them.
