Excellent response. I live in Washington State, and while it's a lovely place to live, there is no dealer with even a selection of student model tubas to look at, much less blow. If you do order an instrument from them, the price is 75% more the Brasswind et al! My grandson is a fine trumpet player, and when he wanted a Bach Strad, I went shopping. Local store had one, but hundreds of dollars more than BW. I'd really prefer to buy from my local businesses, but they can't compete with the large volume outlets.
