I had a friend with a 1992 Mw 2145 with similar problems. They were due to stresses placed on the valve set from the soldering of the braces in a way that put tension on the valve branches. My friend solved the problem simply by having a professional repairman take the set off and replace it. In fact I think Matt walter's at Dillon's was the one who helped him with this. Also beware that some of these sets that were not made by Walter Nirscl seem to be lacking in quality. Good Luck.
