Some years ago I bought a new Melton/Meinl-Weston tuba, model 200. It's a BBb, Kaiser sized, very huge, four rotaries. It looks like MW 25, however 6/4. I was told by the factory:
1. Not to dismount the valves. Otherwise the warranty would not be valid any more.
2. Not to oil the valves inside.
Actually I have done neither of it and the valves work still fine.
Does anybody has the same experience?
Does anybody has experience from this tuba model?
