After my experience with the Radio Shack unit I've come to the realization that I will have to cough up atleast two hundred to get what I really want. I'll look into the unit that you describe. I also have my eye on the Berhinger(sp?) UltraGain Pro Mic2200. I've found it on the net for as low as $180 and it looks good on paper atleast. I've also seen a couple units that will do M-S decoding. I don't have an M-S setup ATM but do you think that is a feature worth coughing up a little extra cash for, for future use, or am I better off buying a seperate decoder later?

thanks for the input.. I feel like a complete neophyte when I read some of the technical jargon that is used to promote audio products. A week ago I didn't know what M-S decoding was!

cheers!
