To be precise, as late as the late 1950s, if it has three valves it would be 1250, a 1251 if it has four valves. Further, it would be a 1250-A if it has the standard 6-1/2" bell reciever and a 1250-B if it has a larger 7-1/8" bell receiver (similar to a Conn 20K). Both are listed in catalogs from the 1930's, but as far as I can tell, 1250-B's are rare and 1251-B's are significantly rarer.
