I use a variety of instruments for my needs, but if I were to use only one, it would have to be an EEb, no doubt. It's a good compromise; it would perhaps not be optimal for a lot of things, but it would work for everything and is hardly bad for anything. My preferred EEb is a Besson 981 (mine is from 1985).
