I posted this message earlier, but didn't get the response i was looking for, I am wondering what songs would be good to play for a talent show coming on the 27th. It will be in front of about 300 18 year-olders, most of which haven't heard the tuba as a solo instrument. I want to play an unaccompanied song that will make them think, wow, i didn't know the tuba could sound so beautiful. I'll be playin on a BBb 4 valve B & S, so nuthing too high please. Also, I'm about a 3 min. walk from the Indiana University Bloomington School of Music, so most pieces, (and hopefully a recording) will be obtainable. And please suggest serious songs, not a comedy skit. Thanks for your help.
