Blending?
I have yet to hear a better blend on that low E at the end of Uranus. The sound that both tubas, bass trombone, and organ produce is amazing and perfectly unified. To be honest though, my favorite recording of the Planets is the Herbert von Karajan with Berlin. Incredible recording, incredible musicians.
