I have a question........If an orchestra holds a closed audition for a 1 year position, and when that year is up, does not have a audition for a full-time tubist, and decides to just keep the guy who won the one-year position, is that legal? I guess you would assume that the orchestra is compliant with the Union rules. I ask this question regardless of if the tubist is a good player.
