I use a good quality silver polish like Hagerty's, but it is an arduous process. I do it once a year. If it is really bad you could use tarn-x first to get the worst off and then rinse with clean water and then use the polish. Cut a rag into long thin strips to get in and around all the valve slide tubes. Unfortunately there is no "easy-wipe" kind of solution. make sure no polish gets down in the valve tubes.
What kind of B&H did you get? I have an Eb from that era.
