Having said that, did you have any comments regarding my post, or were you merely providing clarification?
Bearing in mind that we're discussing rotary valve Hirsbrunners, I would contend that there is little or no question as to the Germanic quality to of the instruments. They are German style tubas, albeit somewhat less tall than an Alex or Miraphone.
The comments regarding colour, bore, and taper also apply to the rotary instruments.
