Okay I am impressed, I liked your posts and your pictures of your collection. It is some physical things that I had to learn about while I was looking for my new tuba. It was going out in the huge ware house "very dead and very open room" and going a good distance from a well known tuba player and hiding around the corner, while he played some diferent tubas in sequence while I could easily hear the differnce between the tubas. It made it easier to pick out the tuba sound I was looking for. After playing the tuba for many hours, I begain to understand better about why I made the choice I made. Soft passages are very easy to project and not get brashie during loud dynamics. It is cool beans when one finds the tuba that shivers your timbers. Yup it is a 191 5 ro valve gold brass mirifone. High notes, Middle notes, PEDAL LOWS, are all built in. Give it a try some time most will like it. ROB BASS
