GREAT PIECE! We did it here with the Armed Forces Tuba/Euphonium Ensemble (AFTEE) as part of the 16th annual Army Band Tuba/Euphonium Conference...though you certainly wouldn't need an ensemble that large. As a matter of fact it works probably best with one player on a part (4 euphs. and 4 tubas). It's a very Tullesque work with his modern harmonic language and pointallistic qualities. Also a solo cadenza for the 1st and 2nd euphs and 1st & 2nd tubas makes the piece quite attractive. Not terribly advanced, but you need confident players.
