It depends on which F tuba you play. On a small bore F you would want a larger mouthpiece than on a large bore F. Our studio has found that the PT-65 works well on most German F tubas, specifically the Meinl Westons and Perantucci's. I used to use the Helleberg 7B but found my sound opened up with the PT-65.
