Just a little shameless self-promotion.
For those of you interested, The U.S. Army Band (Pershing's Own) will feature several tuba/euphonium soloists this summer. If you happen to be in the area, feel free to check them out. The Tuesday concerts are at the Sylvan Theater (on the southeast side of the Washington Monument) and the Friday concerts are on the west steps of the U.S. Capitol.
July 20 - David Brown, tuba
July 31 - Jon Voth, tuba
August 14 - Don Palmire, euphonium and Tom Bratten, tuba
August 28 - Mike Forbes, tuba
