It is the monotony of long tones, NOT this particular frequency that is causing the problem. Quite the reverse, in fact - there is great evidence in the DJ community (perhaps more anectdotal than 100% scientific) that this frequency causes very 'positive' feelings, to say the least. That is as much detail as I am willing to go into on this BBS about it, and I hope everyone else here will keep it civilized.
