It's an octave below the 16Hz C in Encounters. But even that C can't be played in the normal sense on the tuba.
I've heard that basso diapason, and you don't really hear it so much as you feel it, right through the seat. That's why it's so important to get to the National Cathedral concerts early so you can sit in the choir loft.
