I play a Cerveny CCB 686 5MRX and I am much happy of this instrument. I have possessed and I have played the Yamaha Bb 641, also Cerveny CBB 601-4, also Cerveny CBB 883-5 and still to now I play F B&S to 6 valves. I advise the Cerveny 686-5 valves because it is an optimal instrument that adapted to every small instrumental complex (quintett, band) but it is small for the great orchestra, and for this complex I play the Cerveny 601. I have affection to the Cerveny and I will not change more. It is true that the slab is thin and this is not indicated for the fortissimo but lately the Cerveny has increased the thickness of the slab.
