I just wanted to let the BBSers know what a good experience I had purchasing a used Besson 983 from Mike Russo at the Brasswind. The horn and hard case are in basically mint shape (actually in better shape than the horns I played new at the distributor!) It's very responsive and probably has the best intonation of any 983 I've played! (I've played about a dozen of them, some great, some not so great.)
Mike was very helpful and walked us through the the entire testing and purchasing process.
