I tried a Meinl Weston 32 CC tuba with a goldbrass bell the other day at Dillon Music, and liked the way it responded and its tonal qualities. The ergonomics of the horn are a little strange, with all the individual valve tuning slides clustered together fairly high on the horn near the bell. However, the horn plays very nicely in all registers. The price is slightly less than the MW 2145.
