You are right in the fact that I am much too young to have heard these guys live, but my parents have some old LP's of all of those guys, and I have some remastered CD's of some of the old LP's. I hear a LOT of presence on some of those old recordings, esp. Mr.Novotny. I do respect those guys and they have helped tremendously in bringing up the playing level. Some great old music!
