George Marquardt lived in massachusetts , i knew his sons , George jr. who plays euphonium , and Marcel plays tuba , they played in several local bands with me around Canton , Stoughton area of Mass. they had told me about the solo being played by their dad , years ago . Marcel still played his tuba last i knew , a huge Kaiser Kalasham BBb . I myslef have a copy George gave me , and have played it a few times for concerts . P.S. I would love to know more myself if anybody can tell me about this solo ??
