TODAY it may seem unauthentic to supercharge a Model A but a lot of Model B ford blocks ended up in racers. That's how Offenhauser got started, building overhead valve heads to fit Model B blocks. Model B cranks were much stronger than Model A cranks and probably not interchangeable. Many a 30's race car ran on a Model B block.
