shortening slides, do any of you repairmen have any ideas about shortening the second valve compensating loop (on the back of the horn) on a Hirsbrunner euphonium? My b natural 2+4 is horribly flat, and after comparing the length of this tubing to several other euphoniums of varying brands (including another Hirsbrunner) I noticed that this loop is significantly longer (maybe a total of 1/2 inch) on mine than on any other horn.
