(Actually, my point was that Strauss's facination with Nietzschism was something that he had in common with Hitler - so INDEED should we also not be listening to R. Strauss' works? Of course, Hitler probably could have read just about anything written by just about anybody and interpreted it as a message for him to become the Emperor of the World with the mission of exterminating all those who he found to be annoying.)

tuba content: I wonder if, towards the end of the war, Hitler ordered any wonderful old pre-war brass instruments melted down to be made into bullets and artillery shells.
