Thanks, that sounds like the one I'm restoring. I've noticed that the shank size will need to be quite large to fit the receiver. I have a York AL-TRU mouthpiece that needs restoring, so I'll just rebuild the shank with a little lathe work. Also, it looks like I'll be able to restore the original mouthpipe. There are just two of the original finger buttons, so I'll have to make two (another trip to buy more tooling ;^)
This may seem like a lot of trouble and fussing with details, but, as rough as the horn was when it first arrived, it sounded really good, amazingly so, and I think any restoration work on the horn will be worth it.
I was curious as to how many are out there, and any other information will be welcomed.
