Perhaps we need a little clarification on your question. Are you asking about external physical dimensions or the "playing size"? "Playing size" is, I think, more a funcion of the total internal volume of the horn. This is what distinguishes our imprecise descriptions of horns as 3/4, 4/4, 5/4, 6/4, etc.. My own opinion on the smallest F tuba would be the old Mirafone 180's (no longer in production, but they are still around). Your MW 182 is definitely shorter in overall length, but in a side-by-side comparison I'll bet most folk would say the Mirafone played "smaller".

On the other end of the scale, I think the Culbertson Apollo is probably the largest F physically. Having never played one I can't say whether it "plays" bigger than the Willson or the Rudy.
