If you like a larger CC tuba for a good price, play on a Cerveny 601 5valve. Once upon a time, I bought one for about 4 grand. I still use the horn regularly. I can't find anything that gives me a better sound.
If you like piston valves, try the Miraphone 1290($5000). This horn is very agile and puts out a good sound. I would say it's a large 4/4 tuba with a 19inch bell.
If you would like something for all around playing, maybe the Miraphone 186($4000-5000) or 188 would work well for you.
just shop around til you find something you like.
