Dave's mouthpiece is very interesting. It looks like a toilet bowl. It has a beveled rim, and basically goes straight down to the receiver, trying to create as little resistance as possible. This is what he's used on his Yorks and now on his Yamaha 822 F with very good results. I like a lot of the ideas of his mouthpiece, but I need to have a bit of rim. Hope this helps a bit.
