Well, this kinda goes with an earlier post. My HS band director is moving two trombone players and a flutist (it was her idea) into our sousaphone section because of an imbalence in numbers. I have been given the task of teaching them how to play and I'm wondering if there's a different approach to teaching people moving from another instrument. I know the basics of trombone playing, and can probably help the two that play it out with little or no problem, but I'm lost with the flute player. Thanks for your time.
