Is there a historical reason for the difference in receiver configuration between European and American/Japanese manufactured horns? Does this account for the fact that some mouthpeices are better suited for a type or country-of-origin of a horn?
Also,when bevelling a mouthpiece, is the bevel on the inner or outer wall of end of the shank?
