This cutting business is an attempt from the CC mobsters to prove, that CC's are better than BBb's. Their activistical lobbyism might have made their statemen true, when it comes to new instruments coming off the assembly lines.
But these most honorable men of the CC community are still scared by the fact, that BBb tubas historically by far have been superior to CC tubas (maybe but for 2 certain CC's). So the rusk to cut BBb's mainly can be seen as a criminal act: that of eliminating evidence!
