And we agree on the issue of subsidizing orchestras. I'll pay for what entertains me. I don't want to pay for a 'Stones concert, and I doubt quite a few "Stones fans want to pay for an orchestra concert.
I like capitalism. It lets me choose what I want to support (pay for). I know it's an old cliche by now, but "socialist" can always move to another country if he doesn't like the way orchestras are run here.
Although, if the government could press a little button that'd make me instantly able to play my 48 scales, I'd be thrilled ;-)
