I'm going out of town for quite a while and I want to bring my horn with me. This is the usual- I can't afford a case story. I kind of remember reading former posts about checking your tuba but bringing it to the the gate, like people do with strollers and wheelchairs. I'll be going from the east coast to alaska, so there will probably be a couple plane transfers. I have insurance, but is this still a bad idea and is this even still an option. Appreciate the feeedback
