You have received so much useful information! I too play with the mouthpiece more to the right side of my face than my left. It was only during my second year as an undergraduate, while I was taking a flute lesson, that I found out why my embouchure is off center. I have what they call a "tear drop". The "tear drop" is the middle part of the upper lip that is shaped like a tear drop. I used a mouthpiece visualizer and could see where I adapted by forming the embouchure to the side of the "tear drop". You might try a mouthpiece visualizer and see if you have the same thing. It doesn't affect your playing. My range is great and I have a nice, warm tone quality.
Good Luck with your playing!
