Chap-Stick, no flavor, no medication, nothing but the plain, pink stuff.
I like to warm it up so it's soft (keeping it in the glovebox in a hot car in the summer works great, otherwise, try holding it in your hand for a few minutes) and then apply it. Of course, make sure you wipe it all off before you start playing. Don't want to gum up your mouthpiece and horn.
