Generally, if you have a loose-fitting case around the bell, you might want to pack it with towels, clothes, an appropriately-sized ball that you deflate and reinflate inside the bell as a shock absorber, etc. If the case itself is loose-fitting, you might want to ensure that the horn is prevented from moving, as damage from the horn bouncing around the case has happened.
