When I made the switch to CC from BBb, my teacher made sure that I was forced to use a CC all the time and didn't have access to a BBb. This, I think, is better in the long run because there's no easy way out other than to learn the fingerings. Especially when there's a gig coming up, or in my case last year, college auditions. But to each his own.
